Why we built this

Over the years we watched many of our clients struggle with the same thing: the Cyprus dönüm. For real estate and construction companies especially, converting a plot of land from dönüm to square metres correctly was a constant source of confusion and costly mistakes.

Because the Cyprus dönüm is not the Turkish dönüm. In North Cyprus 1 dönüm is 1338 square metres; in Turkey it is 1000. Finding a reliable place online that converted it correctly was almost impossible, and a single wrong figure could seriously affect a land sale or a construction project.

A piece of land is never just a number. It is often a family's labour, a company's future, the foundation of a dream. We could not accept leaving something that has to be right to guesswork.
